NJ -> Flushing, NY

Going to Flushing ($2.90 for subway after NJ Transit fare)

1. Take NJ Transit from your NJ station to New York Penn Station (NYP) ($21.50).

2. At Penn Station, follow signs for “NYC Subway 7” (Purple Line).

• Use the 34th St-Hudson Yards station (a short walk from Penn Station).

3. Swipe your MetroCard/OMNY and board the 7 train (Queens-bound).

4. Take the 7 Train (Uptown/Queens-bound) toward Flushing-Main St (last stop).

Returning from Flushing to NJ

1. Take the 7 Train (Manhattan-bound) from Flushing-Main St.

2. Get off at 34th St-Hudson Yards and walk to Penn Station.

3. Take NJ Transit back to New Jersey.

NJ -> Jamaica, NY

Going to Jamaica ($7.00+ for LIRR after NJ Transit fare)

1. Take NJ Transit to New York Penn Station (NYP) ($21.50).

2. At Penn Station, follow signs for LIRR (Long Island Rail Road).

• Check the LIRR departure board for a train stopping at Jamaica Station.

• Some LIRR trains don’t stop at Jamaica, so confirm before boarding.
• Note the track number, then head to that platform.

3. Board the correct LIRR train and get off at Jamaica Station (about 10 min ride).

Returning from Jamaica to NJ

1. Take the LIRR from Jamaica Station to Penn Station.

2. At Penn Station, follow signs for NJ Transit.

3. Board the correct NJ Transit train to your NJ destination.
